I would like to see this one who is posing so nicely to you! Our jays can not be so peacefully sitting and waiting for my shots 😉 Just jealous and joking for your excellent photo.
I like this bird. They have nesting near our summer place but honestly I have never got pictures of this beautiful bird.
When I was about 8 years old I had to go five kilometers to my school every day and back home of course too. Because it was a forest road and no other children with me I got my company just a jay. She / he followed me jumping and flying from tree to tree , it was nice.
These Eurasian jays are behaving like Siberian jays more northern from my town 🙂
