Hans, that is a beautiful bird! I think it is so strange when birds are called «common» anything …that certainly is better than common! He is beautiful and never seen here, so that makes it uncommon for me ;>)!!!! Thanks for sharing.

I am feeling envious! There were a couple of common eiders seen near where I live but I was NOT one of the ones who saw them. They are such interesting looking birds.

Oh my goodness I love little guy. our shot is incredible but they always are! I just love the colors and your shots are always among my favorites! You are so talented. Härliga bilder på en fågel jag aldrig har sett i det verkliga livet!
Men de var väldigt fina och har härliga färger!
Vi fick mer snö igår, men den har nästan töat bort igen! Varit +3 grader ca idag.
