World Bird Wednesday
What kind of bird is this? I was close to put my hand on the bird’s head, – I did not see it. Mike – Australia helped me, – thank you so much! It is a «Tawny_Frogmouth» – (Podargus strigoides)
The bird cried loudly and scared the hell out of me..
It looked like a piece of the garden pole.
Quite cute, actually! We saw this bird in the area of Blue Mountains, Australia!

Jøsses, for en «raring»! Utrolig mange arter som finnes. Flott fanget!
Ang nyperosene, så er det ikke rosa rugosa (rynkerose) som er avbildet, men av den ville sorten. De kan nok lett forveksles 🙂

Har du sett, neimenn ikke så søt akkurat, men alikevel er der noe helt spesiellt. Den ligner på en stamme på ei gran faktisk, kamuflasje kanskje??

Å du verden, en ny type ugle her i Norge, tenkte jeg, men så ser jeg den er fra Australia! 🙂 Du verden for en sndig type da, den er veldig godt kamuflert ser jeg.. og ja, den så ut som den en del av en gjerdestolpe ;D Ser ut som en trestamme i farta også, og jeg forstår godt at den het det den het, hehe, for makan til froskegap! 😀
